Welcome to FitHive. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FitHive app and website. By creating an account or using FitHive, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FitHive. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and allows you to use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Health data disclaimer

FitHive is a fitness and motivation tool, not a medical device. The step counts and statistics FitHive displays are for personal information only and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

4. Acceptable use

When you use FitHive, you agree not to:

• Manipulate, falsify, or inject step data to gain an unfair advantage in a challenge.
• Harass, threaten, or send unwanted messages to other users.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Use the service in a way that violates any law or regulation.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

5. User content

You retain ownership of everything you post in FitHive (profile details, challenge names, messages, reactions). By posting it, you grant FitHive a limited license to display that content to the friends and challenges you have chosen to share it with, solely for the purpose of operating the service.

6. Pricing

FitHive is free to use at launch. If we ever introduce paid features, we will notify you before any charges apply and you will always be able to continue using the core social step-tracking experience at no cost.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

FitHive is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitHive will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you inside the app or by email before the changes take effect.
